Who we are
F&R Auto Body is Francisco and Ranyer. The shop sits at 4922 N 56th St on the 56th Street industrial corridor in East Tampa, between Hillsborough Ave and Sligh. We do insurance-quality collision repair — which is a way of saying the work is done to the standard an insurance company has to accept, not the standard you can hide under a coat of paint.
When you call, one of the two of us picks up. When you ask what is going to happen to your car, the answer comes from the person who is going to do it. And when an adjuster wants to argue about a supplement, we take that call — not you.
How we work
- Written estimate before we touch anything. Florida law requires one over $150 and we do not treat that as optional.
- If we find hidden damage at teardown, we photograph it and send it for approval before we continue. It never shows up on the invoice as a surprise.
- We match color to the panel on your car, not to a factory card. Florida sun shifts color and that has to be compensated for.
- If your car should be totaled, we tell you that with numbers before you spend money on it.
- All of it in Spanish if that is easier — from the first call to the last signature.
Where we are
56th Street runs straight down from Temple Terrace to us on the north side, and straight up from Adamo and the port corridor on the south. Ybor City is three miles, USF is five, Brandon is nine out I-4. If you are in Hillsborough County, we are close.

Teardown & real scope
The car comes apart. Everything the impact touched gets found and documented — because what is behind the bumper is usually worse than what is on it.
Structure, body & paint
Structural pulls to factory measurement, panel work, then base and clear in the booth with the color matched to your actual panel — not just the code.
Quality check & detail
Panel gaps, paint match and systems verified. Then it gets detailed inside and out, because handing back a repaired car covered in dust is not finishing the job.
