Insurance Claim Help

Insurance Claims — We Handle It For You

The repair is the easy part. The hard part is the phone calls, the adjuster who wants photos, the supplement that needs approval, the parts question nobody explained. That is the part we take off your plate. Bring us the claim number and let us do the talking.

Free written estimates

Florida law requires a written estimate over $150. We follow it.

All insurance companies

We deal with the adjuster and the supplement so you do not have to.

Owner-operated

Francisco and Ranyer answer their own phones. No call center.

Se habla español

Start to finish, in Spanish — not a translation line.

What this includes

  • We work with every insurance company — you are not limited to a shop on their list
  • We write, document and submit the supplement so hidden damage actually gets paid for
  • Aftermarket parts get disclosed to you in writing — Florida law requires it, and we like it that way
  • Bilingual from the first call to the final signature — nobody gets handed a translation hotline

Free estimate, no appointment. Bring the car to 4922 N 56th St and we will hand you a written estimate the same day. If it is not drivable, call us before it gets towed somewhere you did not choose.

How it works

Six steps, no surprises.

You should know what is happening to your car and what it is going to cost before it happens. That is the whole system.

Call, text or send photos

Snap a few pictures of the damage and text them to Francisco or Ranyer. We will give you a straight read on what you are looking at before you ever drive over.

Free written estimate

Bring the car in. We inspect it, write it up, and hand you a written estimate — Florida law requires one on any repair over $150 and we do not treat that as optional.

We handle the insurance

Give us the claim number and we take it from there — the adjuster, the photos, the supplement when hidden damage shows up. You stop being the middleman.

Teardown & real scope

The car comes apart. Everything the impact touched gets found and documented — because what is behind the bumper is usually worse than what is on it.

Structure, body & paint

Structural pulls to factory measurement, panel work, then base and clear in the booth with the color matched to your actual panel — not just the code.

Quality check & detail

Panel gaps, paint match and systems verified. Then it gets detailed inside and out, because handing back a repaired car covered in dust is not finishing the job.

Rather write it out?

Send the year, make, model and a couple of photos of the damage. We will come back to you with a straight answer.

Common questions

Insurance Claim Help

No Florida statute forces you into a specific shop. Insurers do steer — that is what a direct repair program is — and there are real conveniences to it, but it is a choice, not a requirement. And under Fla. Stat. §626.9743(3), if an insurer does specifically require a particular shop, that shop must restore your vehicle to its pre-loss performance and appearance at no additional cost to you beyond your policy terms. Bring us the paperwork and we will read it with you. If you want a lawyer’s read on your specific policy, get one — we are a body shop, not your attorney.

Under Fla. Stat. §626.9743(4), an insurer may not require replacement parts that are not at least equivalent in kind and quality to what was on the car before the loss, in fit, appearance and performance. And under Fla. Stat. §501.33, if aftermarket crash parts are used, the written estimate has to identify each one and carry a specific disclosure notice. You are entitled to know what is going on your car.

No — and this is the single most common misunderstanding we hear. Florida PIP is medical coverage. Property Damage Liability pays for damage you cause to someone else. Your own car’s damage is paid by optional Collision coverage, or by the at-fault driver’s Property Damage Liability if you were not at fault.

A supplement is an updated estimate written after the car is taken apart and hidden damage is found. It is normal on real collision work. We photograph and document it and submit it to your adjuster for approval before additional work begins.

You do, to the shop, as part of the repair — that is how the policy is written. Be careful with any shop that offers to make your deductible disappear; that is not a discount, and it creates a paperwork problem you do not want your name on.
